Overview

Korea University offers a wide range of undergraduate scholarships to recognize outstanding academic achievement. We understand the financial challenges of studying abroad and believe that tuition fees should never stand in the way of your academic passion.

Eligibility

  • International students admitted to Seoul Campus through International Undergraduate Admission (외국인 특별전형).

    ※ Students who acquire Korean nationality and change their student status are not eligible.

  • Students who have completed at least 12 credits in the relevant semesters and have no record of academic warnings or violations.
  • Students who are not in the extra semester.
  • The scholarship eligibility period is subject to adjustment for students whose prescribed length of study varies, such as transfer students or those majoring in Architecture.

Application Period

  • Spring Semester – January
  • Fall Semester – July

    ※ Only Challenge A, Challenge B, and Bright Futures A scholarships require individual applications. Other scholarships are awarded automatically based on academic performance or admission evaluation.

Things to Note

  • Details are subject to scholarship regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Detailed information will be available on Portal (KUPID) notice board in January for the Spring semester and in July for the Fall semester.
  • Scholarship awards will be applied directly to the tuition invoice for the upcoming semester and will not be deposited into personal bank accounts.
  • Only selected recipients will be notified individually via email.
  • Recipients of full-tuition scholarships must make a ‘0 won registration (0원 등록)’ during the registration period.
